The Kite Runner on the catwalk! – Kite Flyers India

Designer Abhishek Dutta presented.

Presumably, it was the bestselling book that was the inspiration behind Abhishek Dutta’s latest offerings showcased at LFW.

The garments were defined by origami influences — pleats and folds galore — along with kaleidoscopic colour and structure. Performing showstopping honours were actors Shayan Munshi and Nisha Kothari.

Here’s how it all went down.

Candice Pinto opened the show in this number, sporting laser cutwork on the bodice, voluminous folds and pockets.
